You want to move abroad, but have no idea where to start? You’re in another country, but you think your time there is over? Or are you in another country and want to deal better with immigrant life – to integrate, live your purpose, use your skills? Here’s how I can help you.

Understanding the dilemma

Often because we are so attached to (and tired of!) a situation, we cannot see it objectively, and what we think is the problem is just an indication that something is wrong.

One of the roles of the coach is to help you, through powerful questions, to see the situation from other angles and define what the dilemma is – perhaps the first step in resolving it.

Making decisions

By removing yourself from the situation and separating emotions and rationale, you will be able to check the pros and cons and determine the best attitude to take at the moment, and what time is right to put your plan into action.

Seeing possibilities

When the brain goes into a limbic state (for example, when we feel pressured to decide something), we do not see other ways of solving a problem. The role of coaching is to help you think outside the box, and to use the potential of the brain to find solutions.

Action

When you make your decision, the next step is to define strategies, and then to just act on them – and not stop acting until you achieve the desired result. Your coach will establish with you regular actions and monitor the progress and effectiveness of them, because only by acting you will get results.

Clarity that you are living your choice

Through powerful questions and using tools, coaching will help you see that it is possible to live where and in the way you choose.

Using your strengths and your values

What are your qualities? What are the values that govern your life and which, if respected, will bring quality of life?

Using coaching tools, you will find that you have a lot more skills than may seem obvious at first, and you will learn how to make use of them.

The MBTI® tool, a personality indicator based on Carl Jung’s type theory, is another tool that will help you to see your strengths, how to deal with your weaknesses, and how to deal with people with different personality types from yours – partners, co-workers, etc.
